This week has seen one of our longest serving employees retire, following 49 years of continuous employment. Senior Design Engineer, Chris Joynes started with Bomford back in 1967, and has worked tirelessly in the Engineering department from that date.
Chris worked on all aspects of machine design, and has been pivotal in the reach arm mower progression in the market place. Some of Chris’ design remain in production today!
In Chris’ time working for Bomford, he has also travelled to North America, and worked closely with our sister companies, and parent group – Alamo inc.
Chris retires with his family, and is looking forward to spending time with his Grand Children, and travelling, along with his other great intrest football.
We wish Chris all the best in his retirement, but also thank him for his commitment, and dedication to the company, bringing many innovative ideas throughout his employment.
