Below briefly outlines the experience of each of the service department personnel. The one overriding asset along with the wide ranging talents of each is the in-depth experience on an individual as well as on a combined level.

Mike Blackbrough: Service Manager

Joined the Bomford company as a trainee in the late 60's. The first position filled was within the Engineering Division as a Design Draughtsman and later moving into the newly formed Service Department. Experienced in all engineering practices including hydraulics and electrics.

Mark Cresswell: Senior Technician

Mark joined the Bomford company direct from school in the late 70's and completed the Bomford training scheme. This eventually lead to a position within the Company's Jig and Prototype shop. Mark has added experience in precision tube manipulating as well as in hydraulic and electrics. He later joined the Bomford Turner Service Department as Senior Technician.

Richard Stanley: Engineer

Richard joined the Bomford company in the early 70's and was soon adopted into the Jig Prototype Shop. Once the HGV licence was mastered his talents were put to good use within the Demonstration Team. In the late 80's Richard joined the Service Department. Richard's ability for working on his own remote from a workshop makes him well suited to his mobile role. He is experienced in hydraulics and electrics and most things related to steam.

With this overwhelming wealth of experience within the department no problem is too large.
