The Bomford Prize 2007

   Lowrie Williams of Gwerfyl Goch, Corwen Denbighshire has recently been presented with the Bomford Prize
 for best FdSc/HND Agri-Food Marketing with Business Studies student at an award luncheon at
Harper Adams University College, Shropshire.

Lowrie, who recently completed the course at the
University College, was presented the award, which is in memory of David Holtom,
by Mr Geoffrey Davies of the Alamo Group (Europe) Ltd, who are world leaders in the design, manufacture,
distribution and service of right-of-way and agricultural equipment.

Course Manager, Steve Barnett comments “Lowrie has consistently produced  work of a high standard throughout
both her academic studies and whilst completing an industrial placement year.  She is a very worthy winner.”
