The Bomford prize

Geoffrey Davies OBE, Managing Director of Bomford Turner Ltd. recently had the pleasure of presenting the Bomford prize at Harper Adams University.  Donated by Bomford Turner Ltd. in memory of David Holtom, one of three Harper Adams students who tragically lost their lives in a road accident in 2003.  The prize is presented annually to the best HND Business With Marketing final year student.

This year Mr Davies awarded the prize to Maria Thomasson, who has consistently produced a high standard of work throughout both her academic studies and her industrial placement year. 

On hand to accept the Bomford award from Mr Davies at the graduation ceremony was Steve Barnett 
(Course Manager for the Business group) and Maria's tutor. 

Maria will graduate with a Higher National Diploma in Business Management and Marketing.
